There are a few things that don't seem to fit under any specific category that I guess I'll just stick here. Like multi platform genre's or generic experiences. I was trying to figure out what my all time best experience was while playing a game. Any game, arcade or computer or console. That is so hard to decide. The cartoon quality of dragon's lair to the home experience of Ultima 1. The 100+ hours of Phantasy Star II. The storyline of Loom to the techno masterpiece of Panzer Dragoon Saga. The debate of side scroll vs. vertical :) I don't know !! Defeating the Minataur in treasure of tarmin. AARRGGHHHHH!!!!!!! Right now in the year 2000 if you were to play adventure on the 2600 and finish level 1 and pull the grail into the yellow castle it wouldn't seem like that big of a deal. But in 1981 the idea of finishing a video game was an unknown concept. Beating a game with an autofire joystick would NEVER count :) More to come....
